Father Murray was the principal drafter of the U.S. Bishops' document on the Liturgy and the Black Catholic Secretariat's "Plenty Good Room: The Spirit and Truth of African American Worship." In addition, he was the editor of a bi-monthly African-American liturgical newsletter of the same name.
