How to Haiku

Celebrate winter with this special workshop devoted to learning how to experience, write, and share haiku. Discover haiku right in your own backyard. Participants will learn the basics of this most universal (and shortest) of world literatures—both classical Japanese and contemporary Western style. We'll learn how to make each word and moment count, we'll sense our senses, train our attention and mindfulness, and harmonize perception and expression. Recommended for all ages. Includes a one-hour nature walk, on campus.
