Trevor Wishart, composer

Trevor Wishart's work spans a number of genres, among them music theatre, site-specific events, extended compositions for electronic sounds, and music for live vocalists. He is particularly concerned with the significance of imagination and personal creativity in the modern world and his work often deals with these issues. He has been involved in new developments in music education, the Musicians Collective movement, and in developing accessible advanced computer music systems. His book Audible Design is a practical musical guide to sound transformation techniques using the computer.
