In conjunction with Working Metal in 20th-Century Sculpture, Cantor Arts Center presents two films about the artist Harry Bertoia (b. 1915 – d. 1978) on February 2, March 16, and April 13 at 1PM in the Cantor Auditorium.

The films will screen in the order listed below and continuously through 4PM. Recordings of Bertoia’s sound sculptures can be heard in the Lynn Krywick Gibbons Gallery. These two films give a fuller picture of the visual and sonic richness of his direct metal sculpture practice.

Running time: 23 minutes

Sonambients: The Sound Sculpture of Harry Bertoia, 1971
Director: Jeffrey Eger
