Prior to her Bing Concert Hall recital, world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming will speak about the connections between music, health, and neuroscience, joined by Dr. Charles Limb, Chief of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery at UCSF and Dr. Josef Parvizi, Professor of Neurology at Stanford Medical School. Ms. Fleming’s presentation is inspired by the Sound Health initiative, which she spearheaded with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Institutes of Health, in association with the National Endowment for the Arts.
