Be conscious of every step you take; feel the earth beneath your feet. Remain present by connecting with the land, the plants, the trees and the animals. Listen to the birds, the creek and the breeze. Find the interconnectedness with nature and the self. Join us as we explore hidden gems and secret spots in local parks and preserves near Stanford. Share in the wonder magic and beauty of the Santa Cruz mountains.

Instructor: Danny Goldberg has led guided hiking tours and taught environmental education in California since 1999. Danny combines his passions for nature, health, meditation and the arts to offer inspiring hiking experiences and new insight into the world around us. Bring a water bottle and hiking attire appropriate for the weather. The hike will begin at the Windy Hill Open Space parking lot, off Portola Road in Portola Valley.
