Lecture on AFRO-PERUVIAN MUSIC AND DANCE by Lalo Izquierdo and Gabriela Shiroma

Lalo Izquierdo is one of the founding members of the internationally acclaimed "Peru Negro," Dance Company of Lima. Lalo plays the cajón (box), sings, and dances. He is a living treasure of Afro-Peruvian arts. Gariela Shiroma, originally from Lima, is the Artistic Director of Bay Area Peruvian dance company, De Rompe y Raja.
