Stanford's Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve to Host Community Open House

On Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 10 am to 3 pm, Stanford University’s Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve
will open to the public so that visitors can experience this gem of nature in Silicon Valley. At this
family-friendly event visitors of all ages will have the chance to interact with researchers and educators
conducting work at Jasper Ridge, take self-guided walks, engage with nature through art and poetry,
and learn about discoveries that have made the preserve world-renowned. Although tours of Jasper
Ridge can be scheduled throughout the academic year, this will be the first community open house in
more than a decade.
