Hear from key figures and scholars including Hong Kong student-activist Agnes Chow (周庭), Ivanhoe Chang of HKETO San Francisco, Professor Larry Diamond, Andy Loo, and Jason Luo. We will discuss the evolving and multi-faceted relationship between Hong Kong and China, as well as the political future of Hong Kong under One Country, Two Systems. (Moderator: Shan Huang)
This event is part of Stanford HKSA's inaugural Cantonese Awareness Week, a series of events dedicated to exploring and understanding Cantonese identity. This year, the focus will be on the sociopolitical status of Cantonese communities worldwide.
