Join a discussion with community organizer David Lee, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Jane Lui, and historian Lee Chin and explore the rich heritage of Cantonese Americans and the modern-day challenges facing Cantonese communities in the United States. (Moderator: Professor Gordon Chang)
This event is part of Stanford HKSA's inaugural Cantonese Awareness Week, a series of events dedicated to exploring and understanding Cantonese identity. This year, the focus will be on the sociopolitical status of Cantonese communities worldwide.
