Rene Schwarzenbach is full Professor of Environmental Chemistry at the Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) in Zurich, Switzerland. He is currently head of the Department of Environmental Sciences at ETHZ and of the Institute for Aquatic Sciences and Water Pollution Control at the Federal Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (EAWAG).
