A3C Speaker Series: Are Asian Americans More Socially Anxious?

Are clinical diagnoses culturally biased? Why do East Asians say that they are more socially anxious than European Americans? Dr. Janie Hong of the Department of Psychology seeks to answer these questions through her research. She will share the details of her research as well as her experiences conducting it.
