Bernstein Bash

Celebrate the life and work of America's greatest musical genius, Leonard Bernstein, with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra under the direction Benjamin Simon. An action-packed evening of chamber music and song, featuring the dance suite from West Side Story, the wonderful "Clarinet Sonata," and his enchanting Arias and Barcarolles. Joining the SFCO will be two up-and-coming singers from the San Francisco Opera's prestigious Merola Program and star percussionist Chris Froh. Bernstein himself will make an appearance, on video, and audience members dressed as Tony or Maria will be eligible for special door prizes.
