ME101 Guest Lecture by Fred Bould of Bould Design

After graduating from Stanford's Product Design Master's program, Fred

founded Bould Design in the San Francisco Bay area. His clients include

Apple Computer, Herman Miller, Nambé, Nixon, Pablo, Slim Devices, TIQIT

Computer and Umbra. Nambé currently produces over thirty of his designs.

Bould's work has been recognized by the ID Annual Design Review, several

Chicago Athenaeum GOOD Design Awards, inclusion in Graphis Product Design 3

and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Permanent Design Collection. His

projects have also been published internationally in many respected design,

fashion and technology publications. Fred has taught at Stanford

University, the California College of the Arts and frequently serves as a

guest critic for design classes at both of these institutions.
