Master Photographer Elaine Mayes: Evening Lecture

Join renowned documentary photographer Elaine Mayes for an evening presentation of her work featuring projected images from her forty-five year career in photography and a lecture addressing issues of seeing, documentation, and creative practice. Best known for her book It Happened in Monterey, Ms. Mayes has had numerous one-person shows, served as chair of photography at the Tisch School of Arts at NYU, and has her work in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the Corcoran Gallery, and museums internationally.
