'Global Warming: Coming Soon to a City Near You' - An Evening with Carol Browner

The Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Woods Institute for the Environment present the 2005-2006 Conradin von Gugelberg Memorial Lecture on the Environment, featuring Carol Browner, Former U.S. EPA Administrator, who will lecture on "Global Warming: Coming soon to a city near you".

During her time with the EPA, Browner oversaw a $7 billion, 18,000-employee agency responsible for protecting the public's air, water, and the health of their communities. An attorney, Browner is widely recognized for her innovative partnerships with the business community and non-governmental organizations, forging common sense, cost-effective solutions to public health and environmental challenges. She is currently a principal with The Albright Group, LLC.

The von Gugelberg Memorial Fund was established by members of the MBA Class of 1987 to honor the memory of their classmate, Conradin von Gugelberg, who died shortly after graduation. Inspired by Conradin's love for the outdoors and commitment to environmental protection, particularly conservation and recycling, the von Gugelberg Fund aims to promote an environmental ethic among Stanford GSB students and alumni.
