The FACE AIDS Celebration will include performances by Talisman and the Stanford Spoken Word Collective, as well as a stunning exhibition of photographs from Africa courtesy of the AIDS Leadership Initiative. This event is the culmination of the Stanford FACE AIDS campaign, and it will celebrate the dedication and passion of all the students who have worked on the campaign as well as build excitement around FACE AIDS' 2006 university campaigns. There will be a brief presentation about FACE AIDS and the Stanford campaign. Volunteers will sell pins and talk to students about the AIDS epidemic in Africa. This event will be covered by reporters from CBS 5 and featured on a community-based show called Bay Sunday on April 16.
