Stroke Awareness & Health Fair –

Stroke Awareness & Health Fair —

Presented by Stanford Hospital & Clinics and the Stanford Stroke Center

Stroke is the number one cause of disability worldwide — but being prepared by knowing how to prevent it, what its symptoms are, and what to do if someone is having a stroke, can greatly change the adverse outcomes that often accompany it.

The Stanford Stroke Center, one of the first comprehensive multidisciplinary centers of its kind, was established in 1992 to develop new approaches to diagnose and treat stroke. Hear from the doctors, medical staff and a stroke survivor of this renowned center about what your risks for stroke are and how to lessen them.
