Stanford faculty, students and staff are encouraged to donate non-perishable food to the Second Harvard Food Bank as part of Community Partnership Day on Friday, April 28. Volunteers will collect items from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Arrillaga Alumni Center, Maples Pavilion, the Oval and White Plaza. The Second Harvest Food Bank distributes more than 27 million pounds of food each year to low-income children, adults and seniors. Also as part of Community Partnership Day, some 250 faculty, staff, students and alumni will be volunteering their services at more than 10 social service or government agencies in the surrounding communities.
