BioLaw Lunch Speaker Series

Law Professor Mark Lemley will discuss the Labcorp vs. Metabolite case. This case will illuminate the allowable scope of patent claims. Further, the Supreme Court will consider the question of whether a doctor could infringe a patent "merely by thinking about the relationship" between homocysteine levels and B vitamin deficiencies after looking at a test result. Professor Lemley is helping to represent Metabolite in this case.
