As part of Bechtel's International Month, the Canadian students at Stanford will be hosting a BBQ in honor of Victoria Day, the Canadian National Holiday celebrating the birth of Queen Victoria. The Victoria Day weekend is an important weekend in Canada for people to host parties and BBQs to celebrate the coming of summer.
The Canadian students at Stanford are aiming to re-create this celebration for all students who may wish to attend. One aspect of the event that should add to the day's festivities is a canoe full of ice cold beverages. There will be a variety of grilled meat and vegetarian options available as well. The BBQ is free for all who attend and should be a good time for everyone!
