Invisibility and Cohabitation in Multiethnic Tokyo

Tokyo is a multiethnic megalopolis and yet few acknowledge the fact of multiethnicity. More critically, non-ethnic-Japanese people are largely silent and invisible. Professor Lie will seek to account for the silence, the invisibility, and the long-standing demobilization of ethnic groups in contemporary Tokyo.
