Sergio de la Torre´s presentation will cover the
diverse cultural production that has come out of the
San Diego-Tijuana Border in the last 5 years, as well
as its relationship with the local and international
art scene. De La Torre is a photographer and
performance/installation artist. He grew up
in the Tijuana/San Diego border area and migrated to
San Francisco. His photographic, performance and
installation works have focused on issues regarding
diaspora/tourism and identity politics.
