Why Chagall Matters

In celebration of the Marc Chagall Exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the publication of Marc Chagall and His Times and Marc Chagall on Art and Culture (Stanford University Press, 2003), please join us for an evening of stimulating and insightful lectures on the art of Marc Chagall.

Benjamin Harshav, Professor of Hebrew and Comparative Literature at Yale University and author of two recently published works on Marc Chagall, will give a lecture with commentary and slides of Marc Chagall's art. A book signing will immediately follow the lecture.
