Global Mobility: Media and Minority Culture - A Conference

This conference considers how global connectivity, technology, and media may alter our ideas of the "minority/majority" paradigm. Conference speakers include: Jon Anderson, Nestor Garcia Canclini, Faye Ginsburg, Brian Larkin, Lev Manovich, Walter D. Mignolo, William Mitchell, Susan Ossman, and Saskia Sassen. (Keynote 10/23 7:00 p.m. features J.C. Herz.) Conference speakers scheduled from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday 10/24 and Saturday 10/25.
