Award Winning Teacher Professor Roger Noll, Public Policy and by courtesy of Economics, will speak on "Managing the Dreaded Essay Assignment." This presentation will concentrate on how to design useful and manageable writing assignments, especially in disciplines in which the essay is technical (science, engineering, most of social science, and even linguistics and philosophy.
