Gene Zelazny of McKinsey & Company will present a lecture on "How to Make the Most of Your Next Presentation," at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. The event, sponsored by the Management Communication Program, will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2003, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Business School's Bishop Auditorium, 518 Memorial Way. Admission is free and the lecture is open to the public. The attendees will learn how to avoid typical public speaking pitfalls and how to design visuals that captivate rather than bore their audience.
For more than 30 years, Zelazny has been working with colleagues and clients to design successful top management reports and presentations. An energetic and entertaining speaker, Zelazny lectures regularly at 16 of the top business schools in the United States and Europe. With humor, fast pacing and content focused on the use of visual aids, Zelazny keeps his audience engaged. His book, "Say It With Charts," is considered the "Bible" on visual aids.
This is the Management Communication Program's biggest event and the only one open to the general public.
