Urban Ministry Stanford Clothing and Provisions Drive

Each June Urban Ministry's Clothes Closet has conducted a well organized drive to retrieve and recycle useful clothing, bedding and survival provisions. These items are sorted and given at no cost directly to the poor and homeless on the peninsula.

The Clothes Closet is in need of volunteers to help pick up goods and sort them each day from the 10th of June through the 20th and is especially in need of volunteer drivers.

Each day the Clothes Closet will provide water and a portable lunch to all volunteers.

Volunteers meet at 10 am behind Lagunita and volunteers work for anywhere between two to six hours a day.

If you want to volunteer anytime between the 10th thru the 20th, please contact Paul (padovano@stanford.edu) or

Elaine Hill at The Urban Ministry/InnVision Clothes Closet
