Professor Lawrence Lessig will speak on "Free Culture: How Big Media Uses Technology and the Law to Lock Down Culture and Control Creativity".

Professor Lessig is best known as a proponent of reduced legal resturctions on copyright tradematk as well as a critic of copyright term estensions. He advocates more flexible copyright for creative work and supports free software as well as "open spectrum", unlimited wireless access for everyone. Buffet Breakfast included.
