Equality and the Market Conference

The conference will focus on the relationship between equality and the market. Participants will examine both theoretical issues (such as whether or not the market is essential to our understanding of equality or destructive of equality) and practical questions (such as whether markets in particular policy areas are at least part of the best strategy for helping the least advantaged). Speakers include philosophers, economists, political scientists, and policy experts.
