The program includes a publisher's panel discussion, as well as a panel of Stanford authors and editors. Ted Bergstrom of UC Santa Barbara will present on the economics of Scholarly Publishing; Stanford's own Doug Brutlag will discuss Stanford's reaction to the serials crisis; Mia Garlick of Creative Commons will discuss the licensing options that authors have in working with publishers; and John Willinsky of the University of British Columbia will present on Open Access journals.
All faculty, staff, and graduate students are encouraged to attend.
