St. Lawrence String Quartet with Pedja Muzijevic, piano

Renowned for their imaginative, spontaneous music making and lively interplay, the St. Lawrence String Quartet welcomes distinguished violinist Scott St. John in his debut performance as a member of the quartet. In the first of three Sundays with the St. Lawrence the vibrant foursome presents an emotionally diverse program that includes Mozart's String Quartet No. 21 in D Major and Shostakovich's fiercely intense Quartet No. 7. Celebrated Bosnian pianist Pedja Muzijevic joins St. John for Mozart's Sonata in E Minor and members of the quartet for Mozart's lush and charming piano quartet in G Minor. Geoff Nuttall, violin; Scott St. John, violin; Lesley Robertson, viola; Christopher Costanza, cello.

“...remarkable not simply for the quality of their music making...but for the joy they take in the act of connection.” —New Yorker
