Rinde Eckert, Horizon

Horizon—the latest work by the innovative and multitalented composer, vocalist, writer, actor, and director Rinde Eckert—finds inspiration from the life of German American theologian Reinhold Niebuhr. Eckert, joined by David Barlow and Howard Swain, depicts a man who must move forward in life, and in doing so, must reconsider his faith, family, feelings, and future. Interspersed with eclectic music and ingeniously staged with minimal props, Horizon is poignant, thought provoking, and witty.
