Klezmer en Buenos Aires

The world-class Argentinean duo César Lerner and Marcelo Moguilevsky of Klezmer en Buenos Aires brings the joy and pathos of Eastern Europe's most spirited party music to life in an exuberant program that seamlessly blends elements of Argentinean folk music with jazz, contemporary music, and tango. Drawing inspiration from their Jewish heritage, they deliver a highly personal performance, brimming with wild harmonies, lively improvisation, and lightning-fast playing. Marcelo Moguilevsky, clarinet, saxophone, recorders, and vocals; César Lerner, piano, accordion, and percussion.

“They are light years ahead of anyone else in the world doing klezmer in every way.” —The Well
