Austrian Ambassador to the United States, Eva Nowotny

Ambassador Eva Nowotny is the official representative of the Republic of Austria in the United States and is responsible for all aspects of the relationship between the two countries. She previously served as director-general of European integration and economic affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1999-2003), ambassador to the United Kingdom (1997-1999) and to France (1992-1997), and foreign policy advisor to the federal chancellor (1983-1992). Ambassador Nowotny holds a doctorate in History and German from the University of Vienna.

Ambassador Nowotny will speak about Austria's Immediate Past Presidency of the European Council.
