Nanou's personal and professional aesthetics were formed in Paris and further shaped in the United States, with studies at École Normale de Musique de Paris/Alfred Cortot and The Peabody Institute, and her work at CCRMA. As a solo artist, chamber musician and lecturer, her performances and lectures around the globe give special emphasis to the performance practices necessary to perform today's acoustic and electro-acoustic contemporary musics, and this concert exemplifies those practices.
