What Makes it Great? with the Stanford Chamber Strings

Delightfully entertaining and profoundly insightful, charismatic conductor, composer, and NPR personality Rob Kapilow explores beloved compositions, unveiling what makes the music great. With an energetic blend of musical demonstrations, commentary, and audience participation, Kapilow enables novice as well as the most seasoned of listeners to hear the music in fresh and revealing ways. Together with the Stanford Chamber Strings—led by members of the St. Lawrence String Quartet—he demystifies Bach's celebrated Double Concerto, leaving the audience with a newfound appreciation of this cherished work.

Cost is $5 for residents, and $15 for non-residents of Escondido Village.
