Getting Feedback

CTL Workshop for Teaching Assistants

You know what you are teaching but... what are they learning?

Beyond the traditional homework, exam, and end-of-course evaluation, there are a number of simple ways to determine what your students are actually learning from your teaching efforts. Your teaching effectiveness will improve as your students' learning increases. Join CTL staff and your graduate student colleagues as we discuss strategies for assessing student understanding that you can use right now as a graduate instructor or teaching assistant, as well as ideas for incorporating such feedback in your job search materials and future career.
