Dr. Vivian Pinn to Speak at the School of Medicine

Dr. Vivian Pinn, Director of the Office of Research on Women's Health, will speak on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 12:00pm-1:00pm in the Clark Center Auditorium. The title of her lecture is "Women and Minorities in Biomedical Careers." She will share new research as well as respond to questions.

Dr. Pinn served on the faculties of Howard University, Harvard University and Tufts University prior to joining the NIH. She graduated from the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, as the only African American and the only woman in her class. All faculty and students are invited to attend Dr. Pinn's presentation.
