Malinda, Lumbee from North Carolina, earned her master's in Documentary Film Production from Stanford. She has produced three films on Native American issues--"In the Light of Reverence", "Real Indian" and "Sounds of Faith." She is an Assistant Professor of History at Harvard and a 2006 inductee to the Alumni Hall of Fame. In addition to her Stanford degree, Malinda earned her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina and a bachelor's in History and Literature from Harvard.
