Margaret Kimball '80, University Archivist, will speak on "Defining Moments in Stanford's History." She has been University Archivist since 1990. She received her A.B. in history from Stanford and masters' degrees in history and library science from Case Western Reserve University. From 1983 to 1990 Maggie held a number of different positions in the Stanford Libraries' Department of Special Collections and University Archives including Public Services Librarian and Manuscripts Librarian. From 1990-1997 in addition to serving as University Archivist, a position that became full-time in 1997, she was Head of the Department of Special Collections. Maggie serves on the Hanna House Board of Governors, the Historic Values Index Group, the Stanford Red Barn Equestrian Center Advisory Board, and the Stanford Historical Society Board of Directors. In 2003 she received the Outstanding Advisor Award and the Cuthbertson Award for exceptional contributions to Stanford.
