A former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Dr. Susan Rice will speak about her career in public service and discuss contemporary challenges to U.S. national security, in particular global poverty. She will encourage a new generation of Stanford graduates to heed the call to serve the nation and the world.
