The forum will examine various aspects of research in the field of Material Culture as presented by current and former Graduate Students of the Anthropology Department at the University College London, in collaboration with UCL Material Culture Professor Daniel Miller. “Material Culture is the study of human, social, cultural and environmental relationships as these forms are revealed in the material world of objects. It is about the social life of things — land, ornaments, tools, housing and Coca-Cola cans — in different cultural settings.”
