Friedman is the author of the memoir Daughter of Auschwitz: My Story of Resilience, Survival and Hope (2022).

LLMs + multimodal/linked data: Integrating text, audio, video, logs, sensors, and administrative data

Scaling, transferability, and reproducibility: Transparent pipelines, documentation, and code (where feasible)

Equity, ethics, privacy, and global perspectives: Fairness, governance, and innovations in data-sparse contexts
