To facilitate healthy discussions and lasting change towards improving diversity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics/Medicine) fields, we welcome you to join our conference, 2022 Diversity in Radiology and Molecular Imaging: Artificial Intelligence in Cancer, that will be held on June 20th, 2022. This conference will provide keynote lectures, scientific presentations, and educational lectures from leaders and pioneers in the field, who will discuss important topics related to recognizing biases and promoting inclusive approaches towards artificial intelligence in cancer molecular imaging.

The conference themes include (1) Racial Diversity, (2) Women in STEM and (3) Global Health, and promoting inclusive approaches towards artificial intelligence research in cancer molecular imaging.

Learners have the option to attend in-person on Stanford Campus (at the Assembly Hall, on the roof top of Stanford Hospital) or to attend live virtually via Zoom. This conference will include workshops and networking opportunities for both in-person and virtual learners.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  • Develop strategies to advocate for inclusive communities with a focus on AI and cancer imaging

  • Apply strategies to support and sponsor team members from minority backgrounds in the area of on AI and cancer imaging
