DESCRIPTION:Please join us for Stanford's 2023 Center for Immersive and Sim
 ulation-Based Learning (CISL) Symposium.\n\nDate: Wednesday\, November 29\,

  on the first floor of the Li Ka Shing Center (LKSC) or virtually via Zoom

 sium topic is “The Science of Storytelling” featuring keynote speaker Micha
 el Daly\, MA\, MD\, PhD\, an academic cardiologist from the Royal College o
 f Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) who is a Visiting Fulbright Scholar at CISL an
 d Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians in London and the American
  College of Cardiology.\n\nThe event will also include an expert panel to d
 iscuss questions from the audience. In addition to our keynote speaker\, ou
 r panelists include:    \n\nDavid M. Gaba\, MD\, Associate Dean for Immersi
 ve & Simulation-based Learning and Professor of Anesthesiology\, Perioperat
 ive & Pain Medicine at Stanford School of Medicine\n\nAndrew Nevins\, MD\, 
 Clinical Professor of Medicine – Infectious Diseases and Medical Director o
 f the Standardized Patient and MSPA Programs\n\nMalathi Srinivasan\, MD\, F
 ACP\, Clinical Professor of Medicine – Primary Care and Population Health a
 nd Associate Director at the Stanford Center for Asian Healthcare Research 
 and Education\n\nKaren Thomson Hall\, Director of the Standardized Patient
