On behalf of the Stanford Department of African and African American Studies (DAAAS), we are excited to invite you to the second annual “Emerging Directions in Black Studies” panel to be held on Wednesday, February 28^th, 2024, at 5 PM via a zoom webinar. 

Assistant Professor of Theater and Performance Studies and AAAS faculty fellow, Dr. Aileen Robinson, and AAAS grad fellow and GSE Ph.D. candidate, Darion Wallace, will be moderating the event, which will include research presentations from our esteemed guest and an interactive question and answer segment. Doctoral students participating in the event include Khrysta A. Evans (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Adriana Green (UC Berkeley), Alyssa James (Columbia University), and Rebecca Wilcox (Princeton Theological Seminary).
