This educational session will focus on how principles and practices related to the circular economy are being integrated into the lab supply industry. One key practice gaining momentum today is circularizing and using recycled content in lab supplies, greatly reducing the associated emissions of single use plastic consumables. In this session, an expert from Polycarbin will share strategies for integrating recycled content into lab products,  and how the Stanford community can support these efforts through both proper sorting and recycling of lab plastics and purchasing of circular economy lab supplies with recycled content. Representatives from Stanford EH&S will also be in attendance to answer questions.
