A3C Frosh Social - Thursday, January 22

Event Details:

Frosh Social is an annual event hosted by the Asian American Activities Center, affectionately known as the A3C. The Frosh Social is coordinated by the A3C's Frosh Interns who are Frosh student staff of the center serving as ambassadors of the center to the Frosh class. The event is meant to bring together Stanford's '25-'26 Frosh class and introduce them to the opportunities and resources offered through the A3C.

This year's theme is The People's Theater: Coming Together. As part of the social, we are hoping to highlight Frosh artists and performance artists! We want to provide a space to reflect on and celebrate the idea of joy and community. We hope that through art, we can come to better understand what joy looks like in our community both back home and here at Stanford and how joy brings us all together!

What to Expect:

  • AAPI Snack Sampling: “Get a Snack + Learn a Fact” featuring fun facts about the A3C’s history and the history of joy in the Asian American community
  • Collective Quilt-Making: Frosh create visual “quilts” capturing what joy and community mean to them
  • The People’s Theater (Performance Showcase): Poetry, music, dance, spoken word, visual art, and more—all performed or created by Frosh
