Event Details:

Join Professor Joe Nation and HumBio alum and environment reporter Rachel Becker '11 on Thursday, November 10th, 2022 from 5:00-6:15pm PT for a conversation about the environment, climate policy, and water issues and rights. Are we doing what we need to to take on climate change? What impact might we expect California’s recent climate legislation to have on other states or countries? How does the current drought in California compare to past droughts and what might that portend for the future? What do conflicts over water rights tell us about state regulators’ power (or lack thereof) to curtail water use? Joe and Rachel will tackle these and other tough questions and challenge the audience to think critically about these key environmental issues.
